Cleopatre Paulvin, LPC

In the past, I have used several therapeutic approaches. The ones that I’ve found most helpful with my clients have focused on building willingness and acceptance, working towards acting on values, and focusing on better understanding and accepting our emotions. Additionally, I have found that keeping a watchful eye on the lessons and messages we’ve learned from our communities and cultures really helps get a better sense of sources distress. Because of this I do identify as social justice orientated therapist. I am currently trained in Trauma-Focused CBT which focuses on children and adolescents who have experienced trauma and works towards helping them process their trauma experiences by telling their stories. Additionally, I am trained in Prolonged Exposure for PTSD.
Ultimately, I focus on ensuring that I use the approach that would be most helpful to you. I have worked with people going through anxiety and depression as well as individuals who have experienced traumatic events. I enjoy working with pre-teens, teens, and adults. It is always a pleasure to meet new clients and I hope to meet you soon.
