I'm Benji, the Therapy Doggo and I've been the head of Barketing here since the very beginning. My days at the office consist of client sessions, play breaks and belly rubs. You'll usually find me close to my Mom, Annalisa, unless of course you have food or my blue squeaker ball. I like to bring lightness and joy to the therapy room. My mom says I do a heckin' good job.
It’s important that my interactions with clients are sensitive to the cultural nuances of their lives. When I say “culture” I’m talking about our experiences doing drugs, going to church, dealing with racism, coming out of the closet, and basically everything else related to our identities.
I believe counseling is meant to be a collaborative effort in navigating life's challenges. By working together, the client continues to exercise their autonomy while utilizing my support.
As our executive assistant, Maggie handles our social media, marketing, and community outreach. Her favorite self-care tip is to take time to unplug and recharge. Disconnect with the world, so you can reconnect with yourself.

As a therapist, I work towards creating a space of safety and understanding. My main goal is to help you get a better understanding of yourself and find the tools to help you through your concerns.
