Shining the Spotlight on the LGBT Center of Greater Reading

June is Pride month and what better way to celebrate than by shining the Community Health Spotlight on our amazing colleagues at the LGBT Center of Greater Reading. You may think that their mission is to host incredibly fun events (because they do!) but it goes way deeper than that. Their mission is to provide services, advocacy, and support to the Greater Reading LGBTQ+ community, including allies, with the goal that all may live a life of fulfillment, inclusion, and celebration.

This organization works tirelessly to create a welcoming, empowering environment for our community. They proudly offer a wide range of safe, supportive, fun events and programs for LGBT+ people of all ages, allies, and the surrounding community. These programs include support & social groups, free counseling services, professional development training, referrals, resources and advocacy for issues of social justice.
