Space Benji
Twinkle, twinkle little treat. How I wonder when I’ll eat. Up above my head too high, held by the hand up in the sky…
Oh! Hello there folks, welcome to my back porch. I was just getting lost in the sky for a bit. Everyone says it’s too dark out when the sun goes away but I beg to differ. When there aren’t any clouds, you can see that the sky is full of tiny specks of light. They are really quite dazzling.
I first became aware of this quite a while ago. It was nighttime and I had to answer nature’s call…if you know what I mean. So, I pawed at the door until I was let out to do my thing. While in the yard, I looked up and was overwhelmed. The stars sparkled down on me and I faded into them. It was quite the experience.
Now, every once in a while I go out just to look up at the night sky. I haven’t seen one yet but I’m hoping to see a shooting star one of these nights. I hear if you see one, you get to make one wish and I’ve got the perfect one – fresh squeaky toys for me and all my friends (including you). But SHHH! Don’t say I told you my wish…
You should go out sometime and check out the night sky. It’s a good time and so relaxing, especially if you can go out into the woods.
Well, it’s gettin’ late. As pretty as the stars are, I think it’s about time to go count the pinholes in my eyelids. Goodnight everyone and remember, if a fresh squeaky pops up on your doorstep, you’ll know where it came from…
Your Tuckered Out Pup,
Benji
